I do not track the individual defensive stats "tackles" and "assists", although the coaching staff did give me numbers in these categories for the 2004 season only. Thus, the individual records in these stats are incomplete, showing only those accrued during 2004. I'm working with the staff to procure more of those numbers for parsing and inclusion in this records section. Across the board, these defensive records are not nearly as complete nor as comprehensive as the offensive records. For example, in 2005 District 15-5A Defensive MVP Brandon Haug may well have broken or come close to breaking many of these records. If you have solid information, let me know.
* - These two sack records are assuredly Tim Knicky's, but we've yet to scope out the correct numbers.

Analysis - The victory-or-defeat trend line on the scoreboard for Cedar Park historically is twenty. They are 36-7 all-time when scoring more than 20 points in a game. They are 37-3 all-time when allowing less than 20 points in a game. However, it is a 100% guaranteed certainty that Cedar Park will win every game in which they score more than twenty while holding the opposition to less than twenty. (Think about it!) The fail-safe point – at least in the regular season – is 28. CP is 25-0 all-time when scoring 28 points or more in regular season games.
